Ok, so after a desperate search, I’ve found a selection of shops who sell Steampunk items. Again, a lot of them are American, but they do go up to a higher size..

American Sites –

http://www.fanplusfriend.com/servlet/the-Neo-dsh-Ludwig/Categories – Great stuff, and a lot of it goes up to a size 22.

etsy.com

This site always comes up on forums and boards, and it is brilliant for steampunk stuff..just search ‘steampunk’ and you can see what genius items are available!

UK

Ebay shop – Lovechild boudoir

I think this lady makes a lot of the clothes herself, and can custom make the skirts. A lot of other items go up to a size 20.

Ebay Shop – e-smith14

Another UK seller with original and handmade steampunk accessories for sale!

violentdelights.co.uk

Not so hot for clothes, but a cool range of cyber/steampunk goggles.

High Street

Bugger me! I think even Evans is getting in on the act –

I spotted it in the store this week. It’s pretty expensive at £125, but it does go up to a 30/32. They also have a wide selection of boots that go up the larger calf.

Anyway, I’m off to Camden this week, so I’ll keep an eye out for anything there!

This Blog…

..is for anyone of a plus sized nature who’s interested in the fashion of Steampunk!

Hopefully that was obvious anyway.

What might not be so obvious is that this isn’t a great place for music/movies/books etc…it’s just all about the fashion, I’m afraid.

I’ve started this as part of a New Year/New Me resolution. I love the steampunk fashion, and as a plus sized lady (size 24) I find it very hard to find things which I can wear of a suitable nature. So I’ve done what I normally do when I can’t find what I want, and started a webpage about it! Hopefully this blog will be a place where anyone else can find and post ideas and places they know to shop at.

What’s also very annoying is that the Americans have all the good stuff! So shops and sites from the UK are always appreciated, as although the cost of the clothes may be cheaper in the states, the customs charges really push it over the limit for me, and – Im sure – for a lot of other people out there!

There’s also some great clothes in high street shops too, which is great for everyday wear..so if anyone finds anything in a store, let me know!

Ok, enough from me..lets get on with the show…
